This policy applies to all client engagements, whether on-premise, cloud-based, or hybrid solutions.
It covers all digital assets, credentials, documentation, configurations, and communications exchanged during the project.

3. Data Confidentiality

All client information is classified as Confidential and handled with the highest level of security.

No data, credentials, or access keys will be shared with any third party without the client’s written authorization.

Access to client environments is limited to authorized personnel under Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).

4. Security and Access Control

Access to client systems is controlled by least-privilege principles.

All data transfers use secure encrypted channels (SSL/TLS or SSH).

Audit trails are maintained for all system interactions.

Physical access to data centers or project environments is restricted and logged.

5. Data Ownership

All data, code, configurations, and documentation remain the exclusive property of the client.
Appewise does not claim any ownership or usage rights beyond the scope of the project agreement.

6. Staff Confidentiality

All Appewise employees and contractors are bound by confidentiality clauses and trained in data protection best practices.
No staff may access or view client information without management approval and client consent.

7. Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach, Appewise will:

Notify the client immediately upon detection.

Take all reasonable steps to mitigate damage and secure systems.

Provide a full investigation report and preventive action plan.

8. Limitation of Liability

Appewise’s liability for data loss or breach is limited to the extent specified in the signed service agreement.
We shall not be responsible for breaches caused by third-party integrations or client-side misconfigurations.
